Pro-Care certified A&E Gütermann sewing threads for workwear and PPE for washing processes 2 and 8.

The Saxon Textile Research Institute (STFI), a non-profit organisation, has tested and certified various product lines of sewing threads used in workwear and safety clothing, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15797, after washing programmes 2 (white workwear) and 8 (coloured workwear). The STFI confirms that the sewing threads are suitable for use in workwear and protective clothing after pre-treatment in an industrial laundry in accordance with EN ISO 15797:2018 and EN ISO 30023:2021.

Various washing programmes involving different temperatures and detergents are employed to simulate the stresses of professional washing, ensuring that the clothing retains its functionality, shape and color.
