“Verpackungsgesetz” – German Packaging Act
Information according to § 15(1) clause 5 Packaging Act for end consumers to whom we hand over packaging:
According to the Packaging Act, manufacturers, and distributors downstream in the supply chain are obliged to take back packaging that is not subject to system participation within the meaning of Section 15(1) clause 1 of the Packaging Act and to ensure that it is reused or recycled.
The following packages are covered by this:
- Transport packaging
- Sales and outer packaging that does not typically occur as waste from private end consumers after use
- Sales and outer packaging for which system participation is not possible due to harmful substances and/or health risks during recycling
- Sales packaging for filling materials containing harmful substances
- Reusable packaging
According to the law, we are obliged to take back used, completely emptied packaging of the same type, shape and size as placed on the market by us free of charge at the place of actual handover or in its immediate vicinity.
Insofar as you are not a private end user, different agreements that we have made with you for the return of packaging take precedence.
The return option and this information should lead to better results in the return of packaging and make it easier for manufacturers and distributors to meet their recycling requirements.
Verpackungsgesetz
Hinweis gemäß § 15 Absatz 1 Satz 5 Verpackungsgesetz für Endverbraucher, an die wir Verpackungen abgeben:
Hersteller und in der Lieferkette nachfolgende Vertreiber sind nach dem Verpackungsgesetz verpflichtet, nicht systembeteiligungspflichtige Verpackungen im Sinne des § 15 Absatz 1 Satz 1 des Verpackungsgesetzes zurückzunehmen und für deren Wiederverwendung oder -verwertung zu sorgen.
Folgende Packungen fallen hierunter:
- Transportverpackungen
- Verkaufs- und Umverpackungen, die nach Gebrauch typischerweise nicht bei privaten Endverbrauchern als Abfall anfallen
- Verkaufs- und Umverpackungen, für die wegen Schadstoff- und/oder Gesundheitsrisiken bei der Verwertung eine Systembeteiligung nicht möglich ist
- Verkaufsverpackungen schadstoffhaltiger Füllgüter
- Mehrwergverpackungen
Nach dem Gesetz sind wir verpflichtet, gebrauchte, restentleerte Verpackungen der gleichen Art, Form und Größe wie sie von uns in Verkehr gebracht werden, am Ort der tatsächlichen Übergabe oder in dessen unmittelbarer Nähe unentgeltlich zurückzunehmen.
Soweit Sie nicht privater Endverbraucher sind, gehen abweichende Vereinbarungen, die wir mit Ihnen zur Rücknahme von Verpackungen getroffen haben, vor.
Die Rückgabemöglichkeit und diese Information soll zu besseren Ergebnissen bei der Rückführung von Verpackungen führen und Herstellern und Vertreibern die Erfüllung ihrer Verwertungsanforderungen erleichtern.

Remarque conformément au § 15 article 1, paragraphe 5, de la loi sur les emballages pour les consommateurs finaux à qui nous remettons des emballages :
Conformément à la loi sur les emballages, les fabricants et distributeurs suivants dans la chaîne d’approvisionnement sont tenus de reprendre les emballages non soumis à participation au système au sens du § 15 article 1, paragraphe 1, de la loi sur les emballages et d’en assurer la réutilisation ou la valorisation.
Les emballages suivants sont concernés :
- Emballages de transport
- Emballages de vente et emballages extérieurs qui, après utilisation, ne sont généralement pas considérés comme des déchets par les consommateurs privés
- Emballages de vente et emballages extérieurs pour lesquels une participation au système n’est pas possible en raison des risques de pollution et/ou de santé lors de la valorisation
- Emballages de vente de produits polluants
- Emballages réutilisables
En vertu de la loi, nous sommes tenus de reprendre gratuitement sur le lieu de la remise effective ou à proximité immédiate des emballages usagés, entièrement vides, de même type, forme et taille que ceux que nous commercialisons.
Dans la mesure où vous n’êtes pas un consommateur final privé, les accords divergents que nous avons conclus avec vous pour la reprise d’emballages prévalent.
La possibilité de retour et cette information ont pour but d’améliorer les résultats du retour des emballages et de permettre aux fabricants et distributeurs de répondre plus facilement à leurs besoins en matière de recyclage.
