invention became identity – imagination becomes impact

Founded in 1864, A&E Gütermann has developed into a globally active textile group and is today one of the most traditional and experienced sewing thread manufacturers for first-class sewing thread solutions. This claim expresses the past, present and future of A&E Gütermann.

Invention became identity – Our success is built on passion and pioneering spirit. From the very beginning, our brand has stood for creative solutions and outstanding products in the industrial, automotive and consumer sectors. Sewing thread has been our expertise for 160 years. Sewing thread is not only a design element for apparel, but also a high-tech product, depending on the application and use – from silk to polyester and steel.

Turning our visions into impressive realities – imagination becomes impact.
That is our mission. Our direction is the future. The development of new ideas and technologies is and has always been part of our DNA.

Some of our diverse products and applications were showcased in the Heritage, Fashion, Lifestyle, Soft & Fine, Expertise, Mobility and Aramid theme areas. Together with key visuals on A&E Gütermann’s core competencies, the stand was a visitor magnet for many customers and new international contacts.

We have had a successful week at the show and look forward to working with you on future projects. See you again in 2026.
